Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the mother of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son from an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which numerous gospel artists are among the top-selling in the world.
Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Gospel of God with the world Also called CSO, she is a gifted, award-winning gospel singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College and was awarded the scholarship of Bendel State University to study architecture. He also holds an honourary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the location where he sensed God calling him to become an ordained minister to the Lord.

It would grow into one of the most popular organizations on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions of people with the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.
Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa through free-to-air networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations available across cable and satellite networks around the world.
Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. In Canada, Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year that permit miraculous healing to occur.
Oyakhilome Music and Gospel Music play an integral part to worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is supervised and trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the singers have successful solo career.
